Metro service

Metro Bilbao will guarantee minimum services, which will be reinforced depending on staff availability.

On December 24 and 25 (Christmas Eve and Christmas Day), Metro Bilbao will offer a special service with adjusted schedules for the Christmas holidays. 

 December 24 Christmas Eve - Last train departures 

On Sunday, December 21, Metro Bilbao will offer special train service to cover the traditional Santo Tomás Day. 

Frequencies will be reinforced throughout the day.

On the two Fridays before Christmas, December 12 and 19, Metro Bilbao will offer metro service throughout the night.

The Bizkaia Transport Consortium (CTB) is launching a new park-and-ride bicycle parking facility next to Ibarbengoa metro station. This new equipment joins that already in place at other stations in Ansio and Leioa. 

To access it, you must have a personalized Barik card or personalized Barik mobile. Each person must bring their own lock to secure their bicycle or scooter within the designated area. 

On the night of Friday, October 31, on the occasion of the celebration of Halloween, Metro Bilbao will offer service throughout the night.
