The Bizkaia Transport Consortium (CTB) is launching a new park-and-ride bicycle parking facility next to Ibarbengoa metro station. This new equipment joins that already in place at other stations in Ansio and Leioa.
To access it, you must have a personalized Barik card or personalized Barik mobile. Each person must bring their own lock to secure their bicycle or scooter within the designated area.
This service is aimed at those who combine bicycle use with metro transport. Therefore, users must have made at least one metro journey in order to use the bike parking facility. Initially, its use will be free during a launch phase, after which a fee will be established for users.
The bike parking facility will only operate during metro business hours, so bicycles may not be parked or removed outside of those hours.
