Metro Bilbao will celebrate its 30th anniversary with the ‘Christmas Train’To mark its 30th birthday and the arrival of the Christmas holidays, Metro Bilbao has organized the ‘Christmas Train’, a free themed trip for children up to 12 years old, in collaboration with BBK and Kutxabank.
The activity will take place on Monday, December 22, with a special trip between Kabiezes and San Ignazio, where children can enjoy a magical journey with Olentzero, Mari Domingi, and the galtzagorris. During the trip, which lasts approximately one hour, there will be face painting, mime and magic shows, storytelling, cut-outs, and a txoko to write letters.
More than 1,200 places will be available, which will be allocated by prior registration and lottery. Each adult may register with between one and three children. There will be six trips throughout the day, departing from and arriving at Kabiezes.
