<p><strong>Javi Conde</strong> the athlete from Basauri, yesterday embarked on a new challenge in this solidarity race.</p><p>He took part in the <strong>Amsterdam marathon</strong>, the 12th stage of the project that he started last year to run a race in <strong>each of the cities that had hosted an Olympic or Paralympic Games</strong>.</p><p>The money raised in each of them will be given to a different NGO. <strong>Metro Bilbao is backing</strong>, his adventure in the Netherlands and will send its donation <strong>to Chernobileko Umeak and its “Healthy Holidays"programme</strong>.</p><p>In total, there are 28 races with 28 different charities. This marathon was the fourth this year after Rome, Tel Aviv and Stockholm. </p><p>On the 6 November, he will run in New York, and after these 5 races, he will have raised €15,000 for the 15 associations for this year.</p><p><img alt="" src="http://cms.nuatt.es/system/attachments/4f439140fc7a7b6e19000009/origina…; <strong>Impressivetrophy case</strong></p><p> Shortly before running in Amsterdam, Conde acknowledged that he was "very excited" even though he had broken a rib training a few days earlier. The athlete from Basauri <strong>has notched up 7 gold medals and 2 silver in the five Paralympics</strong> in which he has taken part.</p><p></p>
