The Barik Mobile app is now available for those between 15 and 65 years old with Android phone 8.0 or higher, with NFC technology.
By downloading the official Barik Mobile app from the app store, you can carry your personalized Barik card on your phone and validate it directly with your phone. The application can be used with Top-up pass and temporary tickets.
The digital card can be used on public transport, except in Renfe, Puente Colgante (nacelle), Portugalete boat and the park-and-ride parking lots.
To enable the personalized Barik on the mobile, it is necessary to activate access to the app. If you are already registered on the CTB website, in the My Barik section, it is not necessary to go to a Customer Service Office to carry out this procedure.
How to validate with Barik Mobile:

Unlock your mobile and approach it to the validator just as you did with your physical Barik card.

You must have NFC enabled.

The Barik Mobile session must be open (although the app can be closed).

Hold your cell phone over the validator. The NFC technology requires you to hold the cell phone slightly longer than the card.

There should not be another physical Barik card near the mobile.
During the trip, the app displays the validations performed and the current trip, which is closed with the exit validation. Validations must be displayed upon request by our staff.
